With Universal SnapServer Expansion, you can start small and grow big. Each
E2000 Expansion Unit enables you to add your choice of SAS, or SATA disk drives
to SnapServer SAN, scalable SnapServer NAS and REO 4600s. In addition, these
product platforms can support multiple E2000 Expansion Units, giving you
flexibility at the time of acquisition to purchase what you need, and
effortlessly scale your storage data as your business requirements changeover
time.

the base storage system
In addition, each SnapServer E2000 comes equipped with, redundant
hot-swappable power and user serviceable cooling units and a dedicated 3GB SAS
channel.
Real-Time Monitoring
Advanced Enclosure Diagnostics continually monitors every componentpower
supplies, fans, disk drives, controllersand shows you the status on an easy to
access visual display. Each disk drive module also displays drive status and
activity level with LEDs giving you peace of mind that your storage is available
and accessible at all times.

total of twelve (12) drive slots available that can be populated with
either SATA or SAS disk drives. Drive packs of either four (4) SAS or
SATA disk drives of various capacities can be ordered at the time of
purchase.
